Looking to get your Lindy fix this summer? We’ve got a few events for you to sate your need!
The biggest, baddest, swing band in the west, the Alpha Rhythm Kings will make their triumphant return to Reno at the beginning of July. We will be out in force on Friday, July 7th, to pay homage to the finest swing music from the golden age of swing!
The Alpha Rhythm Kings will be playing 7 PM – 11 PM on July 6th, 8 PM – 12 AM on the 7th and 8th. No admission fee. Come out and have a good time!
Reno’s Retro Radio Dolls will be performing at the Nevada Museum of Art on Thursday, July 20th. Once again, we will be teaching a lesson prior to the performance. Availability is limited to Museum members, though if you contact us, we can get you on a list for free admission. More Info: here
The Reno Jazz Orchestra will perform at Glow Plaza on Saturday, July 29th. Come out and support us as a part of ArtTown this summer! More Information can be found: here.
Our friends, the Sagebrush Swingers Carson Street Ragtime Band will be performing at the Reno Public Market on Saturday, August 5th. More information will be coming soon!
On Tuesday, September 5th, the Jason Owens band and Reno Swings will join forces to bring you Swing Night at the Cypress. Dance your heart out to local swing and jazz! We will be giving a free lesson prior to the live music. No cover charge, though it is a 21+ event. More details to come!

Clay and Cullen will be teaching a progressive series at the Historic Fourth Ward School Museum up in Virginia City. This will all be in preparation for the upcoming Swinging on the Comstock.

Swing to a faster beat with Collegiate Shag! Guest instructor Jennifer Mirich will be teaching with Justin the fundamentals of Collegiate Shag on May 24th.
Clay & Cullen Mitchell will be teaching Jitterbug up in Virginia City with the Sagebrush Swingers on June 9th. If you have attended the Learn to Swing Dance! series, your ticket will already be free.

You heard that right! Reno Swings! will be celebrating its 1st anniversary since we restarted last year! Whether you were with us in the before times, since the revival, or joined us along the path since, come out for a special night of celebration! We will be giving a promotional rate of $7 for lesson and dance ($5 for students). As usual, no partner, nor experience necessary.

Hello there, Lindy Hop ladies and Judo gentlemen. Reno Swings! is proud to host the 69th annual Combat Swing Tournament!
We are in partnership with 420+ dojos and dance studios across America to celebrate the rich history of Combat Swing. We will be having Colonel Sanders as a guest judge for the tournament.
If you wish to participate in this year’s tournament, please register by April 6th. Tickets are $42 per person. Buy now before they sell out!
Mark your calendars. There will be blood on the dance floor.
